Professionalism in Public Service
The Louisiana Society of Certified Public Managers (LSCPM) is a professional association of public sector supervisors and managers. Eligibility for membership in this Society will be open to persons in public service who are:
- Certified Public Managers (CPM),
- recipients of the Certificate in Supervisory Techniques (CST),
- recipients of any of the four component certificates of the Certified Public Manager program awarded through the Comprehensive Public Training Program or,
- recipients of other programs accredited by the Certified Public Managers Consortium.
Supervisors and Managers are certified after satisfactorily completing an extensive program of classroom training, study, research, examinations, and demonstrating their managerial abilities through completion of individual projects.
The Society is a charter member of the American Academy of Certified Public Managers.
